How to Seche
Simple Rules
Nail Polish Remover
Always use Seche Erase™ to completely remove all lacquer before prepping the nail.
Nail Preparation
Always use Seche Prep™ to remove any oil and residue which may be present on the nail plate. This prepares the nail plate for the base coat application.
Oil and Water
Oil and water are the root causes of polish adhesion problems (peeling and chipping). Keeping hands out of water, as much as possible, vastly prolongs the life of a manicure.
Hair
Always bear in mind that to touch hair when it has been fixed in place with hair spray or other hair fixatives disturbs the finish of your manicure. Many of these products contain alcohol or other solvents which will remove the gloss and damage the color appearance of the nail polish.
Base Coat
Always use a base coat. This is the best way to get a good bond to the nail plate as well as keeping the nail plate from getting stained by highly pigmented polish. Seche base coats are specially formulated to give the best results when used with Seche Vite™.
Seche Restore
Use only Seche Restore™ in Seche Vite™. No other thinner can be used to thin a bottle of Seche Vite™.
Viscosity
Seche Vite™ is unique in its thickness. Due to its technical nature it is very important that the viscosity is not altered by using too much Seche Restore™. Seche Vite™ will get thick and the only way to achieve the use of a whole bottle is to use Seche Restore™ (see Seche Restore™).
Application
Seche Vite™ is unique in its application over wet nail polish. Make sure there is a nice bead at the end of the brush before application over wet nail polish as it must be applied thick, but not too thick.
Not a Nail Polish
Seche Vite is not a nail polish. Do not use Seche Vite™ as a base coat; it is a top coat only and will not adhere to the natural nail.
Dry Brushing
Do not get nail polish on the brush when applying Seche Vite™. This is called “dry brushing.” This will contaminate the bottle of Seche Vite™.
Cleaning
After using a bottle of polish, always clean the neck of the bottle with Seche Restore™ and a lint-free nail wipe.
Directions
Always follow the directions and if you have any questions contact Seche at info@seche.com.
